The student “Innovation Laboratory” (short: InnoLab) in the field of our workgroup. Students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering research current challenges and develop innovative solution approaches. Focus is the generation of ideas with the assistance of different creativity techniques such as Design Thinking, Brainstorming or systematic analysis. The projects worked on include:·

• Autonomous driving: Communication between vehicle and traffic participants·
• Augmented reality: Work in the field of product creation and development
• Smart Engineering: Intelligent Mailbox

Philosophy

The goal of the InnoLabs is to solve problems with technical solutions and thus to contribute to the improvement of the world. The entire process from brainstorming to implementation is handled internally. Each result serves as a building block for future projects and acts as the basis for projects of the same sphere.
